Ridge Cycling Hub Trail Inspection Ride - City Lake
Where: The Ridge Cycling Hub @City Lake When: Thursday, February 29 Time: 5:00 pm This will be a slow ride so that we can inspect the trail. Roadies & Dirties has partnered with the City of Lexington to manage, maintain and design current and new trails at The Ridge. |
Ridge Cycling Hub Trail Work Day
Where: The Ridge Cycling Hub @City Lake When: Saturday, March 2 Time: 10:00 am Rain Date: Sunday, March 3 (check FB group page to verify) ***Volunteers will need to fill out a Waiver before starting work on the trail. Focus: Parking Lot Debris Details: BYO tools (specifically chainsaws) or let us know and we'll be glad to bring some for you. Don't forget to bring gloves and water. |

The first ever Roadies &Dirties bike jersey is here! Click on the link below to order one before March 7th when the store closes. The price is $55 and the jersey will ship directly to you. The jerseys are a snug fit so order up one or two sizes to be on the safe side. |

Ongoing Rides and Maintenance Days
Flat & Curlies Road Ride
Where: Perfect Blend When: Saturday, March 23 Time: 9:00 am (check FB group page to verify) This ride will start and end at @Perfect Blend coffee shop. This is a 25-mile moderately paced route with a leader. All bike types welcomed (MtB, hybrid or road). Bell Tower Green Ride
Skinny Wheels Pedals & Pints Where: Bell Tower Green When: Thursday, March 14 (continues weekly, weather permitting) Time: 6:00 pm This 7 mile loop can be ridden until dark. Feel free to use the loop with the fast crowd for high intensity/race training as well as sharpening your skills in a pace line. This is also a social ride so feel free to join those just riding for exercise and fresh air. There are chaperones with each group so no one is dropped or lost. |

Laps For Loot Event
The LAPS FOR LOOT fundraiser @Finch Park was a big success.
Even though it was a chilly day, we had over 30 riders, for a combined 100+ laps, raise over $1,900 for the biking trail projects. Way to go everyone! Thank you to all who came out to help raise funds! |
Addition to Finch Park Trail
Hats off to these dedicated Roadies & Dirties Volunteers for designing and adding a new section to the Finch Park trail. (12.3.2023) Thanks to everyone's hard work, the trail lap distance has increased to over 5 miles.
